Adam, an astronaut on a spacewalk, discovers a portal leading to an otherworldly scene. Through the portal, he sees a woman named Eve lying in a pool of water, her black hair fanning out to create patterns on the surface. As Adam touches the viewport, he is mesmerized by the sight. Without actually seeing him, Eve knows he is there. She raises an apple to offer to him.
He wants to reach out and touch her, but the barrier between their worlds keeps them apart. He wonders what it would mean to cross over, and whether it is even possible.
